End-User License Agreement
This agreement is between you and the developer of Printax ("we", "us"). By downloading or using Printax you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Printax on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Usage Rules in Apple's Terms of Service. The app is licensed, not sold, to you.
2. Restrictions
You may not:
- copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, or sublicense the app;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the app, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits it;
- remove or alter any proprietary notices in the app; or
- use the app in any way that violates applicable law.
3. Printers and film
Printax works with compatible instant photo printers made by third parties. Printax is an independent app and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any printer manufacturer. Printer names and brands belong to their respective owners.
Printing consumes physical film. Printax shows the remaining film reported by the printer and asks for confirmation before actions that use film, but the printer's reported values and its behaviour are outside our control. You are responsible for checking the printer, its film, and its connection before printing. If Printax cannot confirm whether a print completed, it will tell you and will not retry automatically. We are not responsible for film used by prints that were interrupted, duplicated, faded, misaligned, or otherwise not as expected.
4. Your content
You keep all rights to the photos and LUT files you use with Printax. You are responsible for having the necessary rights to print them. Your content is processed on your device and transmitted only to your printer; it is never sent to us. See the Privacy Policy for details.
5. Intellectual property
Printax, including its design, code, and name, is owned by us and protected by copyright and other laws. This agreement gives you no ownership of the app. We, not Apple, are responsible for investigating, defending, settling, and discharging any claim that the app infringes a third party's intellectual property rights.
6. Maintenance and support
We, not Apple, are solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support for Printax. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support services for the app. You can reach us at zenso@shisheng.icu; we try to respond to every message but cannot promise a specific response time or that any issue will be fixed.
7. No warranty
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Printax is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, that it will work with every printer firmware version, or that prints will match what you see on screen.
If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the app to you, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to a failure to conform to a warranty are our responsibility.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, film, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of Printax. Our total liability for all claims relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid for the app, if any. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.
9. Product claims
We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the app or your possession or use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.
10. Legal compliance
You represent that you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
11. Third-party terms
Your use of the printer is also governed by the terms and documentation supplied by its manufacturer. You agree to comply with any applicable third-party terms when using Printax.
12. Apple as third-party beneficiary
You and we acknowledge that this agreement is between you and us only, not with Apple, and that we, not Apple, are solely responsible for Printax and its content. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement, and upon your acceptance of it, Apple has the right, and is deemed to have accepted the right, to enforce this agreement against you as a third-party beneficiary.
13. Termination
This license is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if you fail to comply with any of its terms. You may terminate it at any time by deleting the app. On termination you must stop using the app and remove all copies from your devices.
14. Changes
We may update this agreement from time to time. The current version is always available at this address, with the date of the last change at the top. Continued use of Printax after a change means you accept the updated terms.
