Privacy Policy
Printax does not collect, store, or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no servers operated by us. Everything the app does happens on your device and between your device and your printer.
Who we are
Printax is an independent app. It prepares photos and prints them on compatible instant photo printers. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by any printer manufacturer.
Photos and LUT files
You choose photos with the system photo picker or from Files. The picker gives Printax access only to the items you select, not to your whole library. Printax never asks for full photo library access.
Cropping, rotation, and color adjustments with .cube LUT files are performed entirely on your device. The finished image is sent over Bluetooth to the printer you connected and nowhere else. Photos, edits, and imported LUT files are kept in memory only while the app is running and are discarded when you close it. Nothing is written to a server, and nothing is shared with us.
Bluetooth
Printax uses Bluetooth to discover your compatible printer, connect to it, read its status (such as battery level and remaining film), and transmit print data. Bluetooth is not used to determine your location or to identify you, and no Bluetooth data leaves your device except the print data sent to your printer.
Notifications
Printax can show local notifications to tell you whether a print finished, failed, or could not be confirmed. Notifications are optional, are generated on your device, and do not involve a push server. Declining notification permission does not affect printing.
Diagnostics
The App Store version of Printax contains no crash reporting, analytics, or logging services from us or from third parties. If you have enabled sharing of analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may provide us with aggregated crash reports and usage statistics under Apple's own privacy terms. Those reports never include your photos.
Children
Printax is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Because Printax holds no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete. Removing the app from your device removes everything it created.
Changes to this policy
If the way Printax handles data ever changes, we will update this page and revise the date at the top. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
